Experience

  • Vivian is a Senior Associate, has been part of ARIAS since 2011. She has more than 14 years of experience in corporate law and she specializes in general corporate advice, negotiation of contracts and shareholder agreements, modifications of corporate agreements and restructuring, foreign investment. He has advised various business groups in relation to their structuring, mergers and acquisitions.
  • She has experience in estate planning processes, designing together with experts in tax matters, an asset protection and contingency management plan, and has experience in labor and tax matters, specifically during the start-up of operations of local entities and branches of foreign companies, as well as day-to-day queries.
  • She has advised foreign direct investment through the establishment of local operations, or in the design and negotiation of distribution, logistics operation and agency agreements. She has an excellent ability to generate value for our clients by providing integrated legal solutions.
  • Vivian provides strategic consulting to local and multinational companies. She has led the team for participation in public offerings before various government and municipal offices of our local and international clients.
  • Vivian has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Guatemalan-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 2015 to 2022.
