Carlos incorporated as Associate Attorney and Head of the IP Department of the Firm in March 2020; however, he has experience in intellectual property; foods and beverages sector, pharmaceutics and retail. During his profession he has provided legal assistance to various national and foreign clients in the protection of distinctive sign, patents, industrial design and domain names as well as in exercise legal actions against infringers of intellectual property rights. Likewise, he has experience in negotiations of intellectual property matters as well as in administrative and judicial processes for protection of intellectual property rights.
He has been teacher in the University of Occident UDO, location UCIMES, in which he taught Labor Procedural Law, Administrative Law and Commercial Law. Also, during his law degree studies, he participated in Legal Olympics, Legal Praxis, Law Conferences in Costa Rica University and was invited as speaker in the conference of social security taught in Universidad Centroamericana UCA.
