JUDICIAL INDEPENDENCE IN LATIN AMERICA

A new report from UK research organization the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law, and funded by the Central American and Panamanian legal and business services firm Arias, looks at how legal systems can support and maintain judicial independence. The report examines the approach of Latin American jurisdictions (such as Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras and Argentina) in light of international principles.
