Catalina joined Arias in 2013 as part of our Real Estate Department. In 2016 and 2017 she pursued her Masters in Corporate and Business Law in Centro de Estudios Garrigues in Madrid. She rejoined the firm´s Real Estate Department in late 2017. Her experience includes the management and direction of real estate acquisitions, developments, urbanism, condominium regime, as well as the structuring and corporate modifications, draft and preparation of legal opinions regarding corporative and exploitation of real estate developments matters. Catalina advises both multinational and national clients in the structuring for: property acquisition, business developments, condominiums, touristic developments and offers legal advice to clients in their day to day business needs.
Catalina´s experience includes the drafting, analysis, structuring and negotiation of corporate documents; as well as real estate contracts including: purchase and sale, trusts, lease, loans, settlements, construction, security, swaps, among others. Likewise, she conducts Due Diligence proceedings for property acquisitions. She is also Notary Public.
